Wet Wet Wet – Portsmouth Guildhall: 24th of October 2025

Can you feel it in your fingers? Maybe you can also feel it on your toes?

That’s because it’s not long until Wet Wet Wet will be visiting Portsmouth Guildhall for a one night only gig. The date is the 24th of October, and anyone lucky enough to have a ticket is in for a treat, as the band will be playing all of the greatest hits from back in the day as well as some of their newer material.

Favourites such as ‘Sweet Little Mystery’, ‘Angel Eyes’, ‘Goodnight Girl’, ‘With a Little Help from My Friends’, ‘Sweet Surrender’, ‘Julia Says’ and of course, ‘Love is All Around’ will be on the set list, and more besides.

These days, only Graeme Clark remains in the band of the original members, so Marti Pellow fans be warned, he won’t be there. However, ex Liberty X member, Kevin Simm, will be fronting the line up as he has since 2018, and long-standing guitarist Graeme Duffin will make up the third member of the trio.

Wet Wet Wet have been entertaining us for more than 30 years, and in that time have sold more than 15 million singles and albums, been certified 20x platinum (and that’s just in the UK), and spent more than 500 weeks in the singles and album charts. Sure, Love Is All Around is one of the most successful songs of all time, but they have got so many more hits than that.

Sound good? There are still tickets left but you will have to be quick as it’s close to selling out. The whole tour sold out last year, so I would expect the same this time around.

Tickets for the gig come in 3 main tiers:

  • £40.80
  • £47.20
  • £62.25

You can also go big with a VIP ticket for £135.75 if you have that sort of spare cash floating around. It’s quite a cool deal though, because you get to go really early for the soundcheck experience, meet the band and have photos, get a signed print, and a souvenir.

Plus, you don’t just get Wet Wet Wet for the price of your ticket. You also get to watch their support act, Heather Small.

As the voice of M People, Heather Small’s sound was synonymous with the 90s, and I would expect her to be blasting out ‘Moving On Up’ amongst others on the 24th. A real treat to get her in the same rooms at the same time as the ‘Wets’.

The show starts at 7:00pm.
