Bjorn Again Abba Tribute – Portsmouth Guildhall: 7th of October 2025

Bjorn Again is officially the most successful tribute show ever created, and it’s coming to Portsmouth Guildhall on the 7th of October.

If you hadn’t already worked it out, it’s an ABBA tribute band, first created in 1988 and thrilling audiences ever since. It’s internationally critically acclaimed, it’s just played to massive crowds at Wilderness and Glastonbury Festival, and it’s the only tribute band that has ever been endorsed by the original members of ABBA.

How’s that for a seal of approval?

That said, don’t expect a copycat performance. Bjorn Again is a light hearted, tongue-in-cheek, rocked-up ABBA satire, so expect lots of laughs as well as all the famous songs sung just like Agnetha, Bjorn, Benny, and Anni-Frid used to sing them.

The show is now 37 years old, so it’s lasted more than twice as long as the original ABBA did, and there’s a very good reason for that: it’s absolutely brilliant. They have even been attributed with the ABBA revival of the 1990s, which ultimately led to ABBA Gold, Mamma Mia! the musical and Mamma Mia! the film.

So ABBA fans have a lot to thank Bjorn Again for!
