You will know Josh Widdicombe from his appearances on lots of different comedy TV panel shows, with The Last Leg probably his most recognisable show. The Devonian comedian is known for his cuddly appearance and ordinary bloke persona, often using observational humour and finding the funny in the banality of everyday life.
If that sounds like your idea of fun, then you will be pleased to know that Josh Widdicombe is going to be performing at Kings Theatre Portsmouth as part of his 2025 ‘Not My Cup of Tea’ tour, with shows on the 25th and 26th of October.
His own publicity team describe the show thus:
“Expect it to be shorter and with lower production values than Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, but funnier and with more references to tea.”
Oh Josh Widdicombe, what are you like?
You know a guy who has survived more than a decade at the top of the British comedy circuit is going to be funny, so if you fancy a laugh, his new show is just the ticket.
Cost of Tickets
Here’s a quick clip of Josh Widdicombe on Live at the Apollo to remind you of his style of comedy:
There are still a few tickets left for the show, but not many, so if it sounds like your cup of tea you need to get your skates on and book.
Your options will be very limited now in terms of where you sit, but the prices are only broken down into two categories as follows:
- Band A – £34.00
- Band B – £26.00
Sight lines at the theatre are very good so you won’t miss out by sitting further back. In fact, you might argue those seats are better since you get a spectacular view of the whole theatre, which is absolutely beautiful.
The show starts at 7:30pm sharp, and there is a strict 14+ policy in terms of who is allowed to watch the material. It will be relatively tame knowing Josh, but you might hear a few rude words as the night goes on.
