Oktoberfest at Portsmouth Guildhall – 7th and 8th of November 2025

If you like a beer, you will want to get yourself down to Portsmouth Guildhall on the 7th and 8th of November. If you also like Bratwurst, Oompa bands, and girls wearing German clothing, you will be in seventh heaven.

Why? Because Oktoberfest is coming to Portsmouth! What’s more, the organisers promise that it is new and improved for 2025.

Probably the most famous beer related festival in the world, Oktoberfest is now an international brand. It happens everywhere, with all sorts of crazy outfits, mad music and sing-alongs, and loads of delicious food and drink to consume. The Oompop bands will be playing their own Bavarian themed versions of all your favourite anthems into the night, creating a unique and slightly mad party that you will be talking about for weeks.

So grab your lederhosen and get yourself a stein of bier to wash down that gourmet pretzel, because you’re not going to want to miss Oktoberfest.

Special Guest and Tickets

There are three different slots you can buy tickets for: Friday night, Saturday afternoon, and Saturday night. The afternoon session runs between 12:00 and 17:00 while the evening sessions run between 18:00 and 23:00.

Tickets are the same price though:

  • Ground Floor Rear Seating – £16.95
  • Unreserved Bench Seating – £20.00
  • VIP Table for 8 – £325.00

The VIP ticket gets you priority access, a reserved table, waitress service, a free gift, and the best view of the stage.

Plus, this year there will be a very special guest – it’s only Big John ‘Bosh’ Fisher, who is going to be running a sausage eating competition. If you don’t know him, he’s a social media personality that eats a lot. He’s only doing the Friday evening and the Saturday afternoon though, presumably because he needs to get home to order a Chinese on the Saturday night.

He’s a funny character though so is sure to raise a few laughs during his time on stage.
