A truly wicked and wonderful pantomime awaits you at the Theatre Royal Portsmouth this Christmas. They are putting on a production of Snow White, which promises to be enchanting and full of laughs – like every good panto should be.
Their official synopsis is as follows:
“Join Snow White as she journeys through the enchanted forest filled with magic, mischief and music galore. Along the way you’ll meet the outrageous Nurse Nelly, the hilarious Muddles, the dashing Prince Charming and the villainous Wicked Queen. Not forgetting of course, the lovable Magnificent Seven, who will be played by talented local youngsters and are sure to charm audiences and steal the show!”
Sounds really fun, right?
The principal roles are filled with pantomime veterans, some of whom are even award winning, and it’s a home grown production too, which means the theatre are producing it themselves, not buying it in. This actually makes a huge difference, because home grown pantos are always so much better than productions that are shipped in from a huge company. It’s created from scratch by people who understand Portsmouth, especially for a Portsmouth audience.
The Christmas pantomime is a wonderful family tradition, so book tickets for your lot today!
